The 1895-O Morgan dollar was struck in 90% fine silver over 110 years ago in the "Crescent City" - nickname of New Orleans for the way the city wraps around a bend of the Mississippi River. Mintage of the 1895-O silver dollar was only 450,000 - one of the lower figures in the Morgan series.
